Maiden and Novice Stakes Races Wednesday

We have gone through the Maiden and Novice races today and come up with two relatively big priced selections.

Josies Kid for trainer Alice Haynes who does well at this course.

He has shown ability on his previous start over 5 furlongs and is by Ardad who is proving to be a very capable sire especially in this sort of grade and in sprint races.

18:15 Wolves

We don't normally back first time out but this is a poor race and we do not like the odds-on favourite (by Slade Power) so looking to get him beat and therefore casting our eye on alternatives.

Malakye is by Elzaam who is an Australian sire. Research indicates he is capable in this grade and at this trip (7 furlongs).

Trainers Simon & Ed Crisford are also capable at getting one ready so hopefully this can be a winning introduction for the colt.
