About the Newsletter
For a while now I have felt social media is too restrictive which is why I’ve setup this newsletter. There are many advantages of this approach including being able to mass communicate more effectively. If you enjoy the newsletter, please share with friends.
I intend to post a lot more selections and info that I come by daily
Bear in mind this is still a work in progress.
Let us hope for a profitable day!
Today’s selections
Lingfield
E/W Punt
13:11 - Aberama Gold (E/W).
Aberama Gold is a 2-time course and distance winner and should go well here. Jockey knows him and trainer Keith Dalgleish struck yesterday with a winner so looks to be bang in form.
We advise going E/W.
13:45 - Forest of Dean (NAP).
John Gosden has just started firing in a few winners and every reason to believe that Forest of Dean should go close. The Gosden/Godolphin combination is good, and he may well be able to reverse the form with Felix today at a track that is more likely to suit.
16:00 - Arlecchino's Arc (Place Bet)
Info Horse
Trainer Mark Usher has tweeted that he thinks the 13f will suit and that his horse has a chance of a place and we agree.
Backing this in the place market on Betfair at around 4/1 .
Kempton
20:00 -- Info Horse (Win)
Been told that VIVENCY (NAP) in the Fillies Handicap is likely to follow up her last win despite the rise in the weights. She is currently favourite.
Sandown
Paul Nicholls is an IN FORM trainer and worth following today. We have selected the best from Paul’s own blog on Betfair and using our own filters.
Paul Nicholls:
13:15 – Dolos (Win).
“He has won this two mile handicap Chase for the past two years and is in tip top shape as he goes for the hat-trick. He has run really well in defeat in his two starts at Cheltenham this season and although he is on a career high mark of 158 which makes him vulnerable we know he loves Sandown so I'm hopeful of another big run”
13:50 – Hitman (Win).
“I am really excited by Hitman who stayed on strongly when second to Allmankind at this track on his second start over fences and will be well suited by the step up in trip to two and a half miles. It's a really good race as you would expect of a Grade 1 Chase and he does lack experience but he is improving all the time and is definitely up to the task”
Musselburgh
14:05 – Christopher Wood (Win).
Paul Nicholls has a great record in Handicap Hurdle races @ Muss (18 runners, 7 winners!) so worth backing his runner there today.
Here is what he says about Christopher Wood:
“I thought he ran a cracker last time at Kempton where he finished a good second giving almost a stone to Cadzand, a horse of Dan Skelton's that looked very well handicapped. Christopher Wood won at this track a year ago, continues to please at home and with Angus Cheleda taking off a valuable 7lbs he must have a leading chance. He will not mind however soft it gets at Musselburgh”.
