Yesterday’s selection was a Non Runner which means we have only had 3 bets this week in the Newsletter for a small loss. For some reason it has been a slow week with not many horses with the sort of pedigrees we like to see running.

Lil Guff is by Twilight Son who does well with his 2yos.

Lil Guff has shown ability finishing 2nd on her last start on unsuited soft ground. She is therefore rightly fancied for this contest and should go one better.

Trainer is in form and the excellent Ben Curtis takes the ride.

Brown Owl was last seen 10 days ago running in to a place at Bath over 5.5f so has shown a hint of ability.

By Footstepsinthesand she has the best sire in the race and represents a yard that is in form.

The step up to 6f should not be an inconvenience to her and she should hopefully go close at a decent price.
