Newmarket and Chepstow Friday
Just the two selections at Newmarket and Chepstow
Daughter of Muhaarar for Clive Cox and Martin Dywer.
One of the few in the race with experience and placed last time out. Cox in good form with his juveniles (5 winners in the last month) so this one could go well at a big price.
Odds: 14/1 (Betfair Exchange), 12/1 generally. Go Each-Way.
Following an in-form trainer …
Over at Chepstow where the jumps season begins it might be worth following Nicky Henderson who is one of the most in-form trainers in the country right now with a 50%+ strike rate in the last month and in the Grade 2 Novices hurdle he runs First Street (14:45, Chepstow) who looks progressive.
Henderson has a 35% strike rate with his hurdlers at Chepstow and a healthy level stakes profit to SP.
Odds: 5/1+ (Bet365, Hills, etc)
