We’ve looked through today’s Maiden and Novice Stakes races and come up with four selections all of whom are in single figures although still good value. Lets hope they run well!

Subjective Value (By Cable Bay).

Mark Johnston has a good record in these type of races at Ayr along with his stable jockey Joe Fanning they operate at something like a 30% strike rate.

The favourite is carrying the penalty which means Subjective Value on only his second start is good value here.

Showdiemlad by Showcasing out of an Acclamation Mare.

Pretty good breeding for a sprinter this Showcasing colt has shown ability in his penultimate start so is worth another go here for trainer Mick Channon

Ye Gud Thing (by Mehmas). - NON RUNNER

We backed Ye Gud Thing when he won at 14/1 and think he has a good chance to follow up.

Mehmas has a good record as a sire when they win last time out and they tend to improve further so Ye Gud Thing could certainly live up to his name.

Mount Snowdon (by War Front X Galileo).

Mount Snowdon has shown ability over his last few starts over 7f and may be suited to the drop in trip to 6 furlongs here.

Richard Hannon's 2yos are running very well and it's interesting to see Jamie Spencer booked for the ride.

Hannon also has a good record at Windsor so Mount Snowdon looks good value.
